A bamboo villa floating above a river gorge. Wake to birdsong, practise yoga with the canopy and swim in a pool that seems to spill into the jungle.
Built by local craftsmen from bamboo and volcanic stone, the villa breathes with the forest around it. There are no walls where you don’t need them.
Mornings begin with a blessing at the family temple; afternoons with a Balinese massage in the open pavilion. We can arrange a sunrise trek up Mount Batur, or a day learning to cook with the villa’s family.
