Canvas suites, copper baths and the oldest desert on earth. Climb Dune 45 at sunrise, then nap through the heat of the day.
The camp is invisible until you arrive: ten canvas suites folded into the folds of a red dune. Each has a star bed on the roof, rolled out after dinner for nights under an impossibly wide sky.
Our guides are Namibian naturalists who track oryx and desert-adapted elephants. Hot-air balloons lift off at dawn for a silent flight over the dune sea.
